@NeoQuello That's a pretty funny statement: I am currently learning to fly gliders and single-engine aircraft. But thanks for playing. Only time will show that I was correct, but I'm not the kind to say "I told you so". Besides, these huge expensive mega-projects are killing the economy of Dubai before they get to kill the occupants. Way to go Dubai...

It is an interesting concept for those willing to spend that much for conformity, The energy created by the division between floors isn't enough to move the building itself, it requires a lot of power to execute such force of actually moving one section of the whole (per X weight), if it would be in constant rotation it would drain more energy than it can generate, you could move your apartment 1 time per month or pay extra energy from the grid; in the end it isn't a complete green design.

Has dizziness been taken into consideration. All the workers puking isnt a nice day at work or wherever.....Will the offices themselfs rotate or is there a rotating outher shell that rotates?

Do we ever really need a reason to do something? Lol. If people have an Idea they put it out there, thats all. We just gotta be open minded. Its a pretty neat concept in my opinion.

Total nonsense. These guys have too much money with no purposeful things to do. Hey guys, how about feeding the devastated (from earthquakes,floods etc)poor, giving them clothing and building homes.

After watching this video, I am reminded of a quote from one of my favorite movies of all time: "Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should." - Jurassic Park As with many 'firsts' (The Titanic) some will get very rich, while many will sadly perish. In a fire, people will trip over their Mercedes parked in their garage room?!? I'm a Mechanical Engineer and you could not pay me enough to live in that death trap! =(
