  • The rot wants to play but the kitten is way to small. Does the dog know it or has he gotten "told" by his owners?

  • @GnosticAtheist The kitten was not "way too small" to play as our Rottweiler was very gentle and was used to being around him. They were buddies then and are still buddies to this day. We did not "TELL" him to play with the kitten...

  • Very cute!He is as gentle as a lamb with the cat.Notice how he gently paws him?

  • That is really sweet, nothing wrong with it. Only thing wrong is I know the breed and that rotty is carrying a few pounds extra than the breed should. They are very muscular but should be leaner than people realise. Put it on a diet, for it's own health please.

  • Do you see how the rottie is licking his lips?;> Hum... ^^

  • @OrangeJuiceRoses Yes, my point was simply that a dog is large and a kitten is small, thus an incident may happen. It has nothing to do with what type of dog it is. With supervision all is good I guess.

  • @hdbtftsg Be nice.

  • @GnosticAtheist Rotties are way misunderstood. People think they're mean animals, but they are sooo sweet. That dog won't hurt that kitten. The owners know that. I have a rottweiler and she is like one of the 2 most awesome dogs ever (I also own a yellow lab dog... I have a cat too)

  • @Danielita90 Read above comment from me, it was not meant as a negative.

  • @RottweilerTimes Sorry, I can see now that my comment is read as negative. English is not my strong point ;)

What I tried to say was more like ; "That is a very young kitten, is the dog naturally kind or is it trained in some way to be gentle with the cat?". It was not meant as critique.

  • @GnosticAtheist oh, please shut up ?

  • how cute! rottie are smart and know when to be gentle!
