I think that is endangering life in Earth, because of bacteria possibly present on the different asteroids which remain dormant and revice once exposed to oxygen. Not to mention such waste of money when millions of people are dying of hunger every day. I would approve only if these companies that send probes to space mathced dollar to dollar for human services to the third world countries.

If you can dig on an asteroid you can dig in Africa for water first.

I always wonder, how scientists manage to land on a moving object so precisely, It is really great. I heard that Hayabusa completed its mission, and landed in Australia .Hope it has collected some sample particles Which can be analysed. I read that it had technical glitches in all the stages of its mission including failure to collect sample
