im probably late but i think your speech would impact more if it was in a casual manner. the one you have now touches on all the elements of what needs to be talked about but listening to it made me feel like mr. hubert from room 305 reading an essay. i dont know what kind of crowd you would be talking to is but i personaly like then thinks are talked about in a more casual manner like im talking to my neighbor, or friend. not a student i lecture everyday. it was still good though

@mrandmsglove the purpose of it was to be a formal speech, hence why it is so formal and essay-like. there was various parts to the presentation - two guidance teachers spoke, i spoke and the education officer from stonewall spoke as well, it was all formal and then we had an informal discussion with the parents/teachers/councillors afterwards :)

How did the speech go?

I'm 15 and go to a school in Dundee ..I'm not sure if it's near you stay but I watched 'Fit' in my s.e class the other month and loved it.

And I wish there someone like you in my school to let people know about the effects of Homophobic Abuse.

Loving the speech! I know how it feels to be bullied by people in my school, most of the people I known that liked me now hate me once I came out. Now I'm stuck in ISS...(Long story. -_-) But I really like the speech, best of luck!
