A Film by Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas; produced by Black Ticket Films.
Children of the Night is a comment on our collective disregard for the millions of children languishing on the streets of India. The film locates itself in Delhi and explores the spaces that these children have come to quietly inhabit over the years and become an invisible part of. Through text narratives of street-children, the film critiques the inability of our society to protect those most vulnerable to everyday exploitation and abuse. Children of the Night is their story of survival on the streets of a city that they have come to understand as their home.
