@Madpets Doesn't it just! That's what makes it better than so many other rides and a real treasure of Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It's the fact that the wheels DO lift off a bit sometimes that make it a "wild" mouse. Wild Mouse is in fact a generic name for this kind of ride but Blackpool has one of the oldest and best.

The most intense Wild Mouse I've ever ridden. You guys are so damn lucky to still have an original wooden one in operation. Thanks for posting this and helping me remember a wonderful coaster trip thru England and Wales. Everyone I met on the trip was so friendly (it was my one & only time abroad-so far.)

@fairfax1960 Thanks for sharing a memory, don't forget I have another on ride video of the Wild Mouse and this one's HD. It isn't as good of a view but it's a better picture and audio quality.
