Leonids 2009 Nov 18 - video

Wide angle 89 degree view of the sky outside my window. Leonids meteor shower members monitored using Sonotaco's UFOCapture software. Individual detected AVI file were joined together resulting in a 1.5 Gb avi. This is my 2nd attempt in uploading. Yesterday uploading was interrupted in the afternoon heavy thunderstorm which tripped out all the AC mains.

As a matter of fact, i have turned to automatic detection system using a sensitive ccd and real time pc detection system to catch them outside my study window... proven to be a highly reliabile method.

Hello - i am using watec 902H with a autoiris computar 3.8mm f 0.8 aspheric lens running Sonotaco's UFOCapture software.. Weather is bad recently here... Hope clear sky for all - Geminids coming up

Dang I was waiting for whole of 3am-5am and only saw one. Your place seriously is quite a good place to be able to see so many stars and lots of meteor, even though my place has no clouds at all.

congratulations ¡ I have a WATEC 902H2 with 6 mm objective all night recording, vvery similar FOV than you, in Valencia (SPAIN) but we were cloudy sky all the leonid date around 18 th ;.(( ¿which setup do you have? greetings from Spain
