Nightwish - Amaranth (cover)

That's me singing Amaranth from the last Nightwish album Dark Passion Play. That's the first request I made, I hope that the one that made the request will be proud of this cover :P
I know, this isn't the best cover I've ever made, especially the audio quality is worse than all the other covers, but I hope you will appreciate that I tried.
As I repeat every time, "My singing videos are done just cause I love singing, so please don't be harsh in your comments!" :P

I didn't noticed that it seems like that... Probably I tried to copy the style more than the accent, cause since I am not a professional singer I try to make my voice similar to the on of someone that can sing properly. I don't know... I really didn't noticed that, so thank you for telling me, I will pay more attention the next time ;)

I speak a bit of Italian and I've been to Italy to visit family, so I know the accent a bit, but when singing, people seem to try and take on the accent of the original singer. It seems that you're trying to copy Anette a bit and it comes across, muddling your accent a bit, but you can still tell. The words are a tad slurred, which is the way she sings, so... Dunno. >>

I think you did a great job, to be honest. Your voice wavered in a few spots, but that's probably partially the microphone and the way Anette sings the actual song... This is a hard song to sing and you seemed to handle it pretty well. With a bit more practice and a song more fit for your range... It could be really fantastic!

Good job. I give you props for having courage to put this video out there. God knows I haven't yet >>

Oh, and if I may ask, what accent do you have?
