  • Also adding to her range, she could sing ANY style of music as if it was second nature to her. Not many singers can do that.

  • This is easily the best version of this Bachrach tune EVER. And live and in person (no lip sychning!) and with the composer right there next to her at the piano.

The sensitivty, the emotion, the vulnerability--can not be matched.

Dusty was one of a kind--she will never be replaced.

  • @LuvDusty2007 --ABSOLUTELY--she owned this from the first note, much better than Dione Warwick

  • @Plutootjes- Sept 12, 1970--- my 6th birthday... nice to know!

  • This is my favorite Bacharach/David composition. Dionne Warwick sings the breathtaking definitive version, but Dusty handles it quite well here. Poor Burt should stick to writing songs and leave the microphone alone.

  • Without doubt Dusty was one of the all time greatest singers....sadly missed.

  • they didn't call her The White Queen Of Soul for nothing ........ she just wrapped a song up and made love to it !!!! beautiful

  • Burt's a great writer. Can't sing worth a shit, but boy can he pen a classic. Funny how he skipped the second half of the first verse in this rendition. "A room is still a room, even when there's nothing there but gloom". Love his writing, but his vocal ability is a friggin JOKE!

  • They would have made beautiful children...

  • FU 1%

  • Dusty adds something to this wonderful song that no one else does. A remarkable version of a timeless classic
