The Road and the Fire

Wrote this song in response to Cormac McCarthy's dark, powerful, and tender novel The Road. The song tries to take the voice of both the father and son in the story, which is probably a mistake, but I wanted to write something to express my feelings for both these characters and the bond they created with me in the pages of book, and my life.

Gibson J-160 E, basically a J-45 with nickel strings which i switched out, and built in pickup, modeled after the ones they built for Beatles in the sixties.
