Let's Play Streets of Rage Remake V5 Part 4: The Gauntlet [SOR2 Path Blaze Run] [Finale]

Didn't think I would ever finish this, did you?

That said, I was putting this off because I had the footage recorded and I was planning on doing post commentary on it to give it more fluidity, but I just can't get myself to say much of anything when I try. I think it's because fighting games are so straightforward and I've already touched on all the gameplay mechanics in earlier parts. Honestly, I just wanted to show off what I thought was a near perfect fan game of one of my favorite series of all time as a kid. I apologize in advance if my commentary isn't information packed like usual. I guess I was just enjoying the game. At least you get to see what I meant when I mentioned in an earlier part that my live commentary consisted of "ooh, ahh, crap!"

Stages 7 and 8 really ramp up the difficulty by placing pretty tough groups of guys and "bosses" throughout the stage. Luckily, I had a pretty solid start in the early episodes so I gave myself a bit of wiggle room. We head through an industrial complex that looks a lot like the closing scenes from Terminator 2 before marching up to face Mr X! Will my run with Blaze Fielding come to a screeching halt at the conclusion?

Hope you guys enjoy! I was planning on posting a wifi battle but I've been feeling a little demotivated. Maybe it's the lack of views on the previous 2 despite what I thought were really solid narrations. I just know that if it gets 250 views now, it'll stay around that amount forever because people don't typically retroactively watch wifi battles the same way they stumble across LP episodes. I'm trying to decide whether it means sub boxes don't work, people don't watch my vids anymore, people don't care for pokes in general, or the battles just weren't good (and I thought they were—at least in terms of thought process for the battle with Makar.) I've always felt like I was one of the few people that ALWAYS clicks on a 4th gen match, but pretty much skip everything I see that's 5th gen. Maybe Pokemon has just kind of left me behind. I just don't know what people want to see if they don't click on a Let's Play OR a wifi battle though.

I love how all of these bombs are exploding extremely close to you, and you character is like "What shrapnel?"

@iamthetie Agreed. Co-op is certainly the way to go with SOR. Perhaps you could do a "Mania" playthrough? ;P
