    I like Gervais but in this not so much. He talks over people with unfunny observations, Chris Rock never gets a word in as he continuously interrupts him. He always has to appear to be the cleverest bloke in the room. He isn't on the same wavelength as the group who are far more relaxed and polite to each other. He is pretty annoying and overbearing.

    LOL, as louis ck already commented on, this "scenes" are half scripted, half improvised. They need to have certain cues to keep it rolling never having empty spaces. So ricky's questions are actually scripted, what is not scripted are the reactions and some easy to spot improvs. Ricky is the man
