Scary people... privacy issues and medieval ideas about good parenting aside, no grown man should ever speak to a child like that. Children need clear messages about boundaries and right and wrong, but if you have to verbally abuse a child to 'discipline' them all you are teaching that child is that being aggressive, insulting and intimidating, is how you get people to do what you want them to do. Well done for those who think this is a good idea, your Darwin Award is in the post.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a man can not even leave a voicemail for his own daughter without it being displayed on the interet for all to see. The man has every right to talk to his daughter like that, and it is not anyone else's place to make a judgement on him. For all we know, his daughter is probably a spoiled kid who doesn't get enough attention or discipline from her parents, and really does need to be yelled at.

Sounds like she has the right idea so I'd say they did an alright job, as did Alec. Any father willing to fly across the country to smack the shit out of their twat daughter for being a disrespectful valley girl is dad of the year in my opinion.
