Ahh, this stage... Mega Man 7 marked the start of these tiny little middle stages after defeating the first four robot masters. Thankfully these only stuck around for two games as the middle stages have always been rather disappointing. This one only has the purpose of providing some nostalgia as well as throwing a boss fight at you. The stage itself has no other enemies whatsoever... just a bunch of the old robot masters in the background in shiny new 16-bit.

The boss of this stage is... depressing... I am not sure if it has an actual weakness as charge shots seem to work just as good as anything else. Basically it is a giant, fat, clown thing with a head that goes flying off when you shoot it. Every other part of this boss is invulnerable to everything, so just focus on the head. Whenever you shoot it, it goes flying off, so make sure to dodge both the head and the body. Charge shots still hit the head while it is on the ground, so get some extra damage in there, too.

I decided to go back to Junk Man's stage in this video to pick up the missing letter plate that I needed Freeze Man's weapon for earlier, too. Otherwise this video would have been faaaaar too short for my liking, and even still it is rather short.

Enjoy!~

  • good strategy on that clown-type boss at the beginning. how many tries does it usually take you to get these levels perfect?

  • @KeybldeUser14 It varies on the stage. This one was just one try cause really, it is just that boss, which is easy to make loop its pattern over and over.

Most Mega Man 7 stages were pretty easy, though, so under 10 tries for most... key word being MOST. Certain exceptions, such as Slash Man, and of course the last Wily Stage, took plenty more. Funny how the problem with Slash Man is not the boss itself, but rather, the eggs full of goo he drops on you...

  • @PinkKittyRose 2 things:

1: can you lp any of the x series?

2: why not use a microphone

  • @NEONMARIO7764 Both of these are covered in my website's FAQ... cause you know, they turn up a LOT. =P

  • if i read at a 1st grade level(REALLY SLOW) your description would be longer than this vid XD

  • @Bowserslave Well, the next one is going to be Shade Man's stage, sooo... much more enjoyable! XD

  • @protoman323 sorry, boss

  • heat man looks like a midget in a box, and that bss looks like a fat version of clown man from megaman 8.

  • What do those letters do?

  • Maybe that's why his eyebrow waggling was so poor in 8, his eyebrows were tired from all the waggling he did in 7.

  • I just noticed... the robot Wily steals (Gutsman) has it's same theme playing in 16-bit.

  • I know what the clown's weakness is! It's Cloud Man's weapon!

  • @UsaSatsui >.> ok

  • You know, a robot museum just seems like a really bad idea. Let's memorialize the robots that have terrorized the world in the past.

For the record - Snake Man, Blizzard Man, Pharaoh Man, and Heat Man, with Flame Man and...um, two Plant Mans in the background. And Skull Man and Ring Man in the boss room.

  • @ValisHD Wow. That is what TV Tropes calls "Fridge Brilliance" right there.
