you must need the kickdown or in german "übergas" button!
your car switch to the next gear on 6000rpm, but your engine must switch the gear on 7000rpm when use the kickdown button!
check the funktion of your kickdown button... the most kickdown butten didn't work after 245000km!

yes, funny you should say that, it was a bit flakey, but it does work now. when you leave it in 2nd gear and it uses first, it will go to 7,000 rpm before it hits 2nd. Its a very poor take off and really shouldnt be posted in reference to 300 CE-24 cause it is quite poor. Its had better days!

isnt that the same engine as in the 1991 300sl, if so they are quite lazy from 0-100 but quite strong from like 100-200

Yeah it is, and it is strong when over 100kmph but limit here is 110 and in my state 100. So sad face for me. Its been quicker to 100 before but this was the best of some very bad video's. Been meaning to do it again.
