The new YouTube? Oh god, no! Why!?!? WHY MUST YOU BE SO CRUEL!?!?

Well, YouTube was just updated. Some of it is good, but they have taken out the best of what was there, such as the star rating system and the watch page layout (which I personally enjoyed). Anyways, it could be just an April Fools Day joke (a very crappy one), but it also came out with some good revisions that make it better such as the feature to see a users videos ABOVE the video rather than next to. and the boxed list on the top right corner. Please comment on what you think is really going on and your views on this "Upgrade", although I really think of it as a "Downgrade" what with the loss of great features.

Unfortunately, it's not an April Fools joke. I've had the new comments layout for a week now. Plus, why would they put all this effort into a new design. I mean, the new like/dislike seems genuine. Genuinely bad, yes, but genuine. I don't think this is a joke, but I hope I'm wrong.

oh god PLEAS be an April fools joke. plus they won't let you see your own ratings on your videos ! the only way too see if people like or dislike your videos is to rate them your shelf and i don't want to do that :( dose any one know how i can see what people rate my videos in this new layout?

____ I LOVE the new rating system. My friend said that it would be cool if they had a ten star rating system because many 5 star videos would actually be a 9 on that system. It very good that they don't show the rating along with the thumbnail. This way it gives me the oppourtunity to click on a lot of 2 star videos.
