  • Nancy was a joy and an inspiration. I loved watching her on tv in the 1980's.

  • I have only rececently got myself hooked up to the internet at home and have enjoyed looking up things that I remember affectionately from childhood. Nancy was one of them, she was fascinating. Like many, I watched her when I came home from school at lunch time. I work in the art world and Nancy was an early inspiration. I was sad to see that she quite recently passed away but pleased that she lived to such a great age and still appeared so youthful and as glamorous as ever. God Bless & RIP xxx

  • I love Nancy. I never thought I could ever get to paint when I watched her when I was a kid. It's not just her painting that inspired its her personality. She gave me more than a desire to paint. I am so glad that this film is here. I just searched for her to show my kid who she was and found the sad news. Never forget you lovely lady xx

  • A lovely tribute. I met your mother recently while she was in hospital. She was in the next bed to my mother in law for three weeks and we visited daily. I had never seen her TV shows but "googled" her name and found out about her life. It was clear that Nancy was not happy to be away from her husband but the nurses would arrange for them to have dinner together in the evening at Patrick's bedside. We were sorry to see her obituary in the newspaper today.

  • Goodbye Nancy - lots of warm childhood memories watching her show with my mother, also gone. By a strange coincidence just a day after she died, and without knowing the sad news, I came across her in some old magazines and was thinking the same happy memories. RIP.

  • I've only remembered Nancy very rarely since I used to watch her on the telly as a teenager. I like to look at videos of art and artists on You Tube and a couple of days or so ago I thought I should check out what uploads there are about her on here. I've just done that and am somewhat amazed to find she had passed away just days ago. Quite a coincidence. I'm also rather saddened by the news. Thinking back, she seemed quite a character and this is a nice tribute to her.
