I like the warmness of the yamaha
-
kurzweil shits on everything else.. VAST!!
-
Those Moxes tremolo strings sounds ridiculous @6:29 :D
Kurzweil sounds absolutely majestic.
-
The mox8 does sound thinner...but it has an audio interface, a ton of sounds and software bundled into it......value wise the mox8 wins hands down...but if you want to miss out based on 1 patch..go ahead...

kurzweil is too good..

Yamaha!!!!

if you own either one of the instrument like i do you know that you can make both of the instrument sound like the other, its all just up to your super simple tweaking. e.g. increase the cutoff on the mox or change the velocity switches to allow hard string from velocity 0-127 then you will have a kurzweil sound. enjoy the demo and stop bitchin yamaha and kurz does not pay you to promote them!!
Kurzweil wins hands down!

The Kurzweil PC3 series is unparalleled in the world of professional performance keyboards. Whereas other brands including Yamaha and Roland might have certain appeal to aspiring "basement recording studios" (much like a Thomas Organ in the 60s--with all the drum accompaniments and one-finger chords would appeal to the masses versus a "bland" Hammond B3 with "drawbars and very few buttons"), if you are a musician and want the best board for performing--Kurzweil wins, hands down.
