Pipe Tune I wrote for the 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment to be played at the "Toast To Fallen Comrades" on the 28th February every year. 8th Battalion members were caught in a minefield in Vietnam, several killed or wounded.

  • Had a good Long Hai Day on 28th Feb 2011 at National Memorial Walk, Enoggera Barracks, Brisbane. BBQ after at same location.

  • Hi Chris. Great tribute and well played. I was in 3 Cav Regt in Vietnam in 1966/67. I played my bagpipes there. I believe that I was the first Aust soldier to do so. Best wishes and Tally Ho the Fox.

  • @47jannie Sorry for late reply mate, we were travelling, I have had many a comfortable ride in an APC as a Grunt so I have a great appreciation for you guys.
