On the weekend of February 22nd, 2006 Scientific Wrestling flew in submission master Yoshiaki Fujiwara and legendary carnival hook wrestler Dick Cardinal for a Catch Wrestling summit of sorts here in Los Angeles. There was also the added bonus of having Mr. Yuki Ishikawa (PWFG wrestler, Pride fighter and BattleArts owner) along to help with training. The clinic was captured on DVD for those that could not attend. It is available at www.ScientificWrestling.com

  • @80JayJay8 I agree with you totally, which is why i am disgusted at the people on YouTube, most of them BJJ practitioners, criticizing on the arts out there like catch and saying it's pro wrestling bullshit and BJJ is better. I'm assuming those assholes don't know who Kazushi Sakuraba is...

  • yeah, i agree with you 100% about grapplers learning from each other, makes a huuuge difference, im a Judoka, sparring with guys from other grappling styles is such a learning experience

  • @TyVoltage88

"in fact, pro wrestling is strong."

  • @YorkshireGripper Yeah we can, dude.

  • Jiu-jitsu guys can't do leglocks. Train both styles and see which one is more effective. Jits is cool but catch is on a different level.

  • @WarriorBlackBanner im in the same boat as you. if i could, i would be training catch wrestling right now instead of jiu jitsu. i wrestled in high school also. Fuck if i could go back i would have solely trained catch wrestling and let that be that.

  • @TyVoltage88 Most BJJ guys I know have a healthy respect for catch wrestling. I don't know where you're finding these people.

  • @yesitisthere lmao

  • Yes that is correct, I understand some Japanese and what he said was

    "ouch" more specifically

    "AAAAAHHHHH ouch!"

  • why is this comment rated so badly, every word is true.

  • i totally agree, i prefer catch wrestling theory, but i am currently studying bjj.
