We are all Gomer in every sense. Hosea isn't Grimm's fairy tales. His story shows God's undying love for us. His story shows a husband's sacrificial love for his wife... Actually, we seldom see that kind of story in real life nowadays... :(( I love this song even though this is the first time that I heard it. :))

I cannot understand for the life of me why people in today's society think it's acceptable and within their free will to be derogatory Christians. As a reasonable person you would be an outright racist to people of ethnic minority even if you don't think the same way they do. So it's not at all right to do so to people of faith. No, we don't need the grimm brothers 2figure out how to lead a gud life.... but with da way u talk u seem 2have all da answers 2every individuals' life experiences&obstacles...and yeah God or Jesus (which by the way is the same identity) is not mentioned in da song per say but if u had the least of wisdom u wud know dat He is da word dat saves & dat Hosea's & his wife r both biblical characters. @mikiano This song's about how everyone's broken and we need to work on being better. It's actually based on a story from the Bible in the book of Hosea. His wife was a prostitute and Hosea went and got her 7 times forgiving her each time. God forgives us every time we mess up and doesn't blame us for our faults. So this song has everything to do with God and Jesus.

@mikiano Hosea's wife is a person from the bible, Brooke is very Christian she sing with hillsong, so yes this song is about God, I'm not trying to attack u or anything like that but i believe in God because nothing else (modern knowledge, money ets...) will ever satisfy

Also, it is not nonsense.

Science and knowledge are all things that were already established in life, just because we discovered them and put names on them does not make us "right". the standard of morality comes from God. "Living a good life" has a purpose.

When it comes down to it, we all need God-- and He does not deny anyone.
