  • I remember expectations being really high for Cutlass Bay in this race for Godolphin. This was his first start outside of France, and he was still unbeaten at the time going into this race. He'd beaten Cavalryman and Allybar in the Prix Grefflhue, and also won the Prix D' Harcourt and Prix Ganay. Cutlass Bay looked an impressive sort in France. But he bombed big time in this race, and later in the year at York in the Juddmonte International Stakes.

  • @gberet83- ur right,, actually iam talkin bout byword vs goldikova..I think no one can beat byword In the arc..

  • Dixie Music has made a perfect pace horse thus far for Fame and Glory in 2010. He has set the pace up beautifully for all three of Fame and Glory's wins in the Mooresbridge Stakes, the Tattersalls Gold Cup, and the Investec Coronation Cup. If Aidan O'Brien continues to use Dixie Music to set up Fame and Glory this season? These two are going to make a lethal pair to try and beat. Because Fame and Glory has ran off the back of Dixie Music perfectly in 2010. IMO.

  • @casterdenise, either you mean a rematch between Fame and Glory and Cutlass Bay? Or a rematch between Byword and Twice Over? Fame and Glory and Byword have never raced each other yet in their careers. But I think it's likely that both will race in the 2010 Arc. Probably pretty likely that Cutlass Bay will be in the 2010 Arc as well. Being that he came to the Curragh undefeated, having won all of his lifetime starts in France. This was the first loss of Cutlass Bay's career.

  • Iam looking out for a rematch between fame and glory and byword....

  • The 3rd place finisher of this race, the roan mare Chinese White, concluded a brilliant career at the Curragh on June 26th by scoring a victory in the Group 1 Audi Pretty Polly Stakes. The connections of Chinese White have stated that the Pretty Polly Stakes will be the final race of Chinese White's great career because the mare is at present in foal to Cape Cross, the sire of the great Sea The Stars. Chinese White finishes off with a lifetime record of 14-7-1-2. A very respectable career. IMO.
