@chrsbrrss all guns are weapons, there intended purpose is to protect you from harm by killing another, that is a weapon. By military standard wich im use to it is a weapon, by pilice standard its a weapon, by civilian standard as well as law and the very definition of a gun it is, always has been and always will be a WEAPON weather you like it or not.

I prefer you say firearms instead of "weapons" a weapon is a device picked up with intent to kill or harm, anything can be a weapon, these are firearms, untill needed to be a weapon.

@zASOMEz Unfortunately, I'm not a hillbilly, though I wish I was at times. Just a guy that happens to live in a really fucked up town. I'm not paranoid, I'm prepared. Thank god for the few times that I've needed my firearm, for I might not be typing this response had I not been carrying all the time.
