A doe will prefer to dig a den appose to using a nesting box, so will probably end up digging regardless.

@guineaguineapigchann cause 2 rabbits make 600 lbs of meat (not to mention fur), in a years time which is more than a cow and bull can do in a year.

Why on earth would you want to kill baby rabbits? D:

WOW can you hear them shouting???? " WE WANT UPDATE!..WE WAN'T UPDATE! " Man they sound serious you better give them an update...:-}

Hi, I would love to know how you are getting on with your rabbits on pasture, Did they successfully raise and rear litters? Updates :) Please

@paydirt1227 i do the same thing. Those old dog cages make great tractor crates. I don't leave mine out in them all the time though.

Great job! Looks great & they have nice fresh grass!

This is much better than having them in some tiny metal cage for their whole life. Nice idea !!
Hey, I just wanted to suggest something. Try giving your does at least 1 week break from babies/being preggo. Its only fair, plus it will keep them healthier and in better condition. Being preggo AND nursing a bunch of 12 week olds would literally KILL her. She needs time to gain some weight back. Take it from a successful show breeder. :)

you need to give her a break between weaning litters, AND having a litter. Responsible rabbit breeders do not overbreed their rabbits.
