Red82991--I agree wholeheartedly. I think it is superior to his Faust. But the staging from which this excerpt is taken ia utterly ridiculous. The two died in a small chamber, for God's sake--not a blasted forest!. Didn't the idiot that staged this mess at least read the text? Looks like something that fraudulent director Petere Sellers would bring off.
