Saw a show last year where New Found Glory was on a supporting tour for Paramore; I remember all the people barely even giving New Found Glory a chance, but rather booing them and screaming for Paramore. Let me be absolutely serious and upfront for just one moment here: Paramore don't got shit on NFG. Pay some respect to who was here first; whose throne will not conceded: New Found Glory!

@translatedpunk of course. but the nature of the genre is bands that get together when they're young and people grow apart and have different opinions of their futures. all I meant was the number of bands that don't stay together that long is far greater than the ones that do.

@baconfromhell666 I understand what you're saying and I agree. But both bands are in the same genre (pop punk/alternative rock) and I feel that people who don't even give NFG a second glance don't know what pop punk is

@HigharollaKockamamie but most people who listen to paramore doesnt really listen to nfg. it would almost be like having some metal band on tour with blink or something like that. sure, they get a bigger crowd then if they went on a tour where they were headliner, but they dont get the crowd they deserve

The drumming right there at 0:18 is all Ramones and Green Day style but that and the chorus is the only part. How many mainstream bands out there still hit the hi-hats like that? Good thing Green Day still does and New Found Glory just brought it out to a new audience. This is the closest thing to oldschool pop punk in the whole album. :| Everything else is poppy upbeat modern pop 'punk'.
