So, I love your voice, but I feel like you rushed it a lot. The feel of the song is supposed to be really dramatic and slow, you know?

@BastuBasti /wiki/Falsetto
"The falsetto voice—with its characteristic breathy, flute-like sound relatively free of overtones—is more limited than its modal counterpart in both dynamic variation and tone quality.[1] The term falsetto is most often used in the context of singing to refer to a type of vocal phonation that enables the singer to sing notes beyond the vocal range of the normal or modal voice.[2]"

what is falsetto.
-
@BastuBasti I think you mean no falsetto at all.
there is quite a difference.
-
no emotion at all.

The "oh my god" part is remarkably different than Sufjan's original version. Why did you choose to change it and end the note so abruptly? I always thought that was the most emotional part to the piece and, no offence, but it kind of makes your version so bland.

I just stumbled upon your videos, and this isnt going to be the last time, I can tell you that. You are so talented. I dont think it matters if the songs are faster than the originals, you truly have a gift. Keep it up!

Great job! You nail Sufjan's melancholy vocal style. Sweet mic rig. Whatever works, right? Keep up the good work! 5 *****
Hmm. I'm sure I've already commented.. but the internet seems to have swallowed up my words and left not even a crumb. So here I go again.
