"Oui, Je Suis Seul", a set of two 8mm films created by artist Danielle Spires, were shown at Plastic Chapel Art Gallery in Denver, CO. The show consisted of an entirely white room with two small keyholes in the back wall.
Bending over and peeking into one keyhole, the viewer was shown "Oui, Je Suis Seul", translated from French as "Yes, I am Lonely", which was an emotive look at what it means to be overwhelmed with loneliness.
"Lonely Girls", shown through the other keyhole, gives the viewer an uncomfortable voyeuristic peek at dancing girls vying for the viewer's attention.
**The song 'Kol Nidre' was created by John Zorn from the album 'The String Quartets'
