  • I will forever be a friend, supporter, and devoted follower of the Desserich family and The Cure Starts Now. They are amazing people who should be recognized as well as respected, and are truly an inspiration to us all.

  • I just found out about this girl today after reading a front page article and as a grown man I shed a tear for this girl seriously, she is so brave and strong! I;m being this book for sure. RIP Elena

  • ur lil angel:-)

  • This child is absolutely amazing. What a heart of GOLD, and like they state in the interview... this beautiful child left behind great teachings for thousands of people. A total and complete gorgeous angel.

  • This is just incredible. No words can describe how amazing this whole thing is. Amazing, just amazing.

  • @alchemicdream000 - How dare you. Do you see how much agony they are in? I bet you cannot IMAGINE how much pain they go through everyday. To have your baby your flesh and blood die a horrible death. They must have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on medical bills you idiot. Do you know how expensive that shit can get?!! Well I DO! Going on tv does not mean money anyways! It means sharing your story so it sends hope and love to others. So people will look at this and LEARN something <3

  • She found pleasure

    In hiding up treasure

    Her thoughts were expressed

With a love that knew no rest

thank you - I teach Kindergarten

and I will be thinking of this sweet

    girl tomorrow, on Valentines!

  • What a clever little girl. Just looking at the pictures of the notes and knowing the back story made me tear up. I know other parents haver their kids dieing too and I keep them in mind, but honestly this is much more significant, because of what she did.

  • for every "Elena" that you guys are crying about, there are 1000s of other children DYING whose parents are not publicizing the story to the media.

Keep them in your thoughts too.

  • wow !!! i read the book . its so sad but i know when i have kids i will appreciate them . R.I.P Elena
