Mr. H, what would happen if I took my 2010 Gibson Les Paul and arranged the bridge system in a way that implemented that wrap-around? All new age Les Pauls that I've seen have the stop bar tail piece, and I believe it's the same thing as that wrap-around bridge system?

Please god don't try that! Either buy one or the other already made that way. It's a can of worms you'll open and you might permanently wreck the guitar!

@johnhguitar I mean, really? I wasn't planning on drilling into it or anything. But I guess there might be an issue with the tension on the neck..?

Maybe, but you have the truss rod for that.
