2010 Mystic Velo Crit - SprinterDellaCasa Helmet Cam

May 16, 2010. Mystic Velo Criterium held at Ninigret Park, RI. Ran out of memory so incomplete recording. Learned the hard way that Macs don't erase when you delete files, they just move to a folder named Trash. I started the day with two clips still on the memory card.

Main excitement - the funny at the beginning and then responding to three different attacks in a lap and change. Missed the crash (which happened slightly behind and to the right of me) and the finish.

so when a cross wind comes from the left you go right and vise-versa? I'm new to competitive racing so i don't know

@chrisbear08 If you're looking for shelter, you put the wind between you and the other riders. So if the wind is blowing in from the left, i.e. you feel it on the left side of your face, you want to sit more to the right. This can save a lot of energy.

@ProfeTa6 Imagine if you thought you had the whole race on tape, the first time you used the cam on the course, and you had an awesome sprint, going through a lot of guys in the last few hundred meters to get second. Then you check the video length and... doh.
