@gomeltback That's a bit unfair to her. She's not trained to kill people, she's trained to protect people using lethal force if necessary. It's like you can love animals, but if one attacks your child you're gonna kill it. Doesn't make you less of an animal lover, it just means you do what you have to do.

A very proud American standing up for a good cause. I am glad PETA selected her for this campaign. On a side note, the military, while I understand their reasoning, still should not have fired Ms. Manhart for posing for Playboy. It takes a powerful, confident, beautiful woman to be brave enough for something like that and it shows a lot of character and fortitude. Exactly what the military and PETA are about.

i wish she was my MTI 9 years ago, i would've been more motivated, instead of being the quiet one in the corner... lol. but then she probably was some airman back then...
who says the only thing she needs is a brain? i bet you can't even get in the airforce 'coz you can't get high enough points to pass the test... anywho, STFU... just give kudos for her, she found another way to support the troops... lol

@gomeltback If you had to defend the life of your mother, father, sister, brother, friend, etc, what would you do if you or their lives depended on it? The military makes it so that you have the freedom to make the dumbass comment you just made. If it weren't for the military you might be speaking Japanese, German, Arabic, or even dead.
