tested and works great, but unfortunately the blender heads forgot to compile the needed libs into the official binary of 2.49! too bad. videotexture wont work in linux with official build. you need to compile your own.

thats awesome, do you have a script to do that? would be nice and really cool if you would share that knowledge :) i searched your site, but couldn't find any resources, maybe you cann put alink to a demo blendfile or so.

Not working on Ubuntu 9.04 with Blender 2.49. But works with windows xp &2.49.
Sure wish someone could help with the Blender/Ubuntu videoTexture issue.
