The key ring has a special little device on it. Point it at the car through a window of your house, to save you going out in the cold. Press the button and the heater comes on in the car. By the time you've had your breakfast it's de-frosted, warm as the toast you've just had and is ready to drive away

Even better, if it's really hot in the summer, it cools the interior down with the cars powerful air conditioning. Both heating and cooling gets it's power from the lead plugged into your house, so there's been no discharging of the batteries.
