This is the tunnel the rocket once was
at the end is all back fill from the housing above, also there is a troph inside with water still running into it the water was as clear as a spar and tastes lovely more on this tunnel will be uploaded soon

    Stephenson built it,1829.It was the first tunnel in the world under streets, although a pretty short tunnel. One end was the Crown St station and the other end the Edge Hill Cuttings.

    .

    At the same time the 1.25 mile Wapping tunnel was built to the South Liverpool Docks with its portal next to this tunnel in the Edge Hill Cuttings.

  • This is a tunnel Stephenson built? Or did the Rocket just run through it? What's the history here? (US person here. I love ancient trains.)
