Finally we have people like Markopoulos who not only say, but have the proof to back it up, that the US has a very corrupt government (government agencies) and very corrupt corporations. And that is the present day US - a CORPORTATE DEMOCRACY -government for the corporations, by the corporations, of the corporations. Profits are KEPT by the shareholders and CEOs, and losses are passed on to US citizens, i.e. taxpayers. Oh what a perfect crime!

Bank CEOs and CFOs are major criminals. Major, who deserve to be put in jail. But no one is even pursuing them. Did you hear Markopoulos: "For decades banks have been taking 1/3 of 1% from every holders account and that amounts to 100s of billions of $ over several decades". Gangsters. Criminals.

In 2007 I took all my money out of managed funds by banks because I knew they were totally cheating me. How? First, they were giving me 2-4% interest while the real figure they were earning on my money was higher (6% +). Second, on top of telling me lies about how much interest my own money had earned, they were charging me management fees and other fees. I took my money and started managing it myself, and I have done much better. My advice, BYPASS THOSE CORRUPT SCUM. Bank CEO salaries a joke.

Harry stated in his book that the SEC was not corrupt but just incompetent. Yet he stated that immediately after the story broke that the SEC was conspiring to cover up and lie about their meetings with him. Nobody in government is ever convicted for acts in the course of their own agency.
