Quite simply the best despite the passing of time. Her voice was that of a very fine Lucia Di Lammermoor. She graced these delightful operettas and musicals with her charm and artistry. Very special indeed!

I absolutely agree with you. She was tremendous! This video was taken towards the end of her career but she can still do it all!

Oh that unmistakable sound, with its glorious top. I would recognize it anywhere after many listenings of the cast album of Robert and Elizabeth. She was the absolute best in this repetoire from the 50's through the 70's and into the 80's. Then came her glorious successor, also Australian, Marilyn Hill Smith.
