  • Interesting video Jack.

  • lol cheers

  • Just an afterthought but I think the younger generation are becoming disinterested in politics and even current events, the death of the tabloid is only one aspect of a much larger issue.

  • lol no, i think the younger generation are more interested in politics, and are taking their views from outside consensus thought now. if we see a fall in votes or interest in the main stream in future, dont assume its because people are lazy or hate politics, assume they have become disenfranchised with what passes for "political" in this country.

  • I'm not saying the death of the tabloid is a bad thing...but more needs to be done so that the next generation are not even further plunged into the perpetual black hole of political and social unawareness.

  • and we are more socially aware than ever before, on an international basis, thanks to this little tool we're using right here. chances are i would never have spoken to you were it not for this site. the chances are i would not have taken to politics like i have if i hadnt had somewhere where i can post my views and represent myself. that couldnt have happened in a tabloid society.

  • Sure and YT is a great thing...and it could well save the day...I think its more a question of the ideology needing to change to attract even more new ideas so that the old and decrepit, failed systems of the past can once and for all be removed.

  • I really don't see this...maybe we run in different circles...but in general all I see is ignorance...and even those who are interested in politics are deeply dissatisfied with modern political parties and often get in deep with destructive Communist, racist and Anarchist idiology.

Two party political systems have to go...otherwise far right and left parties gain footing.

So they either go from one extreme or the other.

  • well i did say in theory, i have my own doubts, but so long as there is no longer a monopoly of opinion, thats what really counts

  • Good vid, agree whole-heartedly about Politicians and Tabloids, not quite so sure the BBC are that Independent?

    Keep up the good work
