The Device has been Modified v2 - Portal Music Video

When I uploaded this in 2008 YouTube did not support higher quality videos and their official documentation called for videos at 320x240 which is why this is lower quality. There will probably not be as higher quality version released as it would require using FRAPS to re-record everything in proper HD.

I decided to go back and remake my original video of this using some new ideas I had. This video also includes my own version of the Portal ending credits. The song is "The Device has been Modified" by Victims of Science. The end credit song I used is Jarrett Heather's version of Jonathan Coulton's "Still Alive". Music used with written permission.

If you keep listening to the part in the beginning until 0:10 while thinking of the whole "Cave forced Caroline to become Glados" and of the lines that were too graphic you will feel as if the whole thing is 10x darker.

if you played Half-Life, you should know thaat they're not as 'bad' (in this sense meaning 'morally objectionable', as they only did things such as mess around with radioactive substances and unleash hordes of aliens on the world, instead GlaDOS instead held hundreds of thousands of people captive, 'tested' on them until they died, subjected them to emotional torture (companion cube), built 'death robots' (P-Body & ATLAS), along with other things.

so really, Black Mesa ain't so bad...

yea but, aperture created an AI that murdered everyone within their own facility and was contained in that one place. Yet Black mesa fucked up an experiment so bad that it resulted in the entire world being taken over by an alien authoritarian dictatorship. Which is worse? lol
