i know that ian or someone close to him really cares about their IP that is released for free on the internet and yeah maybe you're thinking of your fans from back in the day but i'm 27 now and didn't even give a shit about fugazi or anything (i just wasn't around you're scene in eastern kentucky appalachia, so sorry) until a few years ago when i went to college and met city kids and actually got to hear the music but i'm so glad that at least this video has stayed up so i can spread the message

I feel like the lyrics are the theme song to most peoples lives in this day and age. Constantly voting in favor of their own defeat, ignorant to the slaughter that occurs around them and the world on a day to day basis, and generally just acting like the living dead. Oh well, maybe they can find their voices while out shopping, right? Ian MacKaye is a genius, and everything he's ever written just proves that.
