Macaroons are delicate Parisian cookies filled with luscious creams, jams or mousselines.

  • It's not macarOOns, it's macarons! Why do people always get it wrong ):

Macaroons in Asia are bread-like diamond shaped pastries without filings, or as MusicIsLife pointed out, "coconut based cookies".

Macarons are MUCH MUCH MUCH yummier.

I can't believe the description was written by someone from a pastry boutique ):

  • i found out this one from baking life..n youtubed it...hhaha..cuz it looks too deliciouse

  • It's Macarons. There is a difference. Macaroons are coconut based cookies that you can typically purchase almost anywhere. Macarons are a french cake like cookie that is made from almond flour and is typically sandwiched with a filling in between. I'd be hard pressed to find these at a joe schmoe grocery store.

  • They look delicious! I want one...ok more than one.
