The first part of the final battle against Marluxia. He's definetly the most dangerous boss so far in this game, but with the right cards you can get through with this easily. Plus theres a bigger field, and that makes things easier. Marluxia's AI is somewhat dumber than his AI in GBA version. If you stay away from him, he sometimes just floats around mindlessly and does nothing. I saw this as an advantage for setting up a sleight or using an enemy card.

My original strategy was to imitate his Double Sleight ability with the Darkside card and then to blast him away with Holy, but it wasn't like the GBA version where he uses it at the start of the battle. Freeze was a poor sleight to use too...

Which means that Lethal Flame isn't a great attack to use either. Marluxia tends to teleport away from Stop magic. I took a chance and failed it once, so you can see what happens here. You'll have to be prepared to break some of his sleights, most of them are near one hit kills and others just... mess you up.

  • @IMunchDiiamondzz kk thx for tellin me

  • @RebornOfTheRage No, this is a 3D remake of the GBA version not the DS. DS has a remake for re:coded which was originally released for mobles/cell phones only in japan.

  • i cant kill riku after i finish destiny island or whatever

  • is this a ds version or also a gba version but 3D remake?

  • I tought this game was only for the gameboy advance

  • Has anyone noticed how short Naminé is?

  • @joseaparicio42 A pretty good part of the story has to do with the cards, so that might not be the best idea. If you really want to go to Castle Oblivion without the card battles, play Re:Coded (there are still cards for the worlds though)

  • man when i got to this part i just used lethal flame until he died

  • No offense but you copped out at the end...and I did the same thing when I first played through the game...When the going got tough, I summoned Cloud and that's how I beat him the first time

  • @xXMollyMinxXx He's a summon in this game...you find/buy his cards
