ENR, Alexandria train station action

The steel plate on the commuters trains are used there for protect the cab from vandalism or the sun reflection.
Front windows had also "Ghetto bar" but in the interior of the cab behind the window !
Les plaques de métal sur la machine sont utilisées contre les vandales et contre la reflection du soleil quand la machine est au repos. Il y a aussi des barres anti-pierre sur les vitres devant, mais elles sont à l'intérieur de la cabine derrière la vitre !

Is there no electrification anywhere in Egypt, then? Even on commuter lines? Those elderly GMs can't do much for air quality.

@AndreiTupolev yup ! no electrification there ! I think the new engines like the GE ES40ACI are more better for air quality !
