@geonerd alot of riders do that here.... does not matter because they do not ride for long. because they end up 6ft under and we call them dickheads....

Nice one. I just earned my stripes a few days ago myself. Disregarded braking in my new tire and to a 90 degree at 40 mph. Luckily my bike is rhino lined so now body damage. Just the foot/brake pedal bracket snapped off. Easy weld and ride on.

Though people walk away from crashes like this you have to remember that a strain injury can still happen and you might not feel the pain for a couple of hours once the adrenaline wears off.
Strain Injury = torn ligament IIRC
