does somebody knows a good (analog) synth that can give me that fat, detuned sound of the ob-8?

Jealous thats all...just freaking jealous :(

@empirix I interfaced my patch-panel SEM with a Moogerfooger MF-101 filter pedal(in 4 pole mode) and got smoother and bolder bass than just the SEM by itself. It's difficult to get the levels to match between them, so you'd need to also use a spare mixer with one channel pre-amp to boost the pedal's output, and main mix for the SEM VCO's.

@empirix Thanks! I'd say any analog mono is a good synth for bass, as they tend to have the power you want. From there it's all about taste. My current favorite is the Voyager and SEM *together* :-)

@mindphlux Thanks. You can get quite experimental with that patch panel, it's a lot of fun.

How are you interfacing the Voyager with the SEM? CV/Midi converter?

@loverickbass All CV. Voyager -> VX-351 -> SEM. Check the video description for details.
