@maharg23 Farve was the one who mentored Rodgers as a rooky and made him the quarterback he is today.

Aaron Rodgers is a much better QB than Favre anyday.

hahaha i remember being at this game back in 2007, and im a vikings fan so i hated brett favre, but what viking fan didnt hate him back then? haha then come 2 years later in 2009, i go back to the Dome on MNF to see him play the Packers and it was one hell of a game. Brett Favre is a Legend. he threw 33 TD's and 7 INT at the age of 40 in 2009. thats unbelievable. it still makes me say HE shouldve been league MVP. not Peyton Manning..

Brett Favre is one of my favorite players of all time, I was sad to see him retire, angry that the Giants and Saints spoiled his chances of going back to the Super Bowl, I would have loved to to see him win one last title with the Pack by knocking off the perfect Patriots or see him beat Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl

Who ever hates on Brett favre is a POS. He is the best QB around and will be for a while to come so stfu and get outta here

even though Bret Farve did a whole lotta good for the packers, in my mind he still betrayed them and thats totally ok and his decision and all but it still says a lot about his loyalty to the team. After he left i started to think that all the years he was playing he was really playing for himself and not the team. i think its karma that after Farve he was replace by, hopefully, an even better quarterback.

@donmegablast You are entitled to believe that, but I completely disagree with you. I love the Pack, and as much as I like Brett, I did not want him to win when he was playing against us. But I was very sorry to see him get hurt last season, even wearing the purple. Now we've got Aaron Rodgers, who has already won us a Super Bowl, and will be great for years to come. I wait for the day now when Brett's #4 is retired as a Packer, the team that made his legendary career.

@brawy1 its about the team not the man. you are not a true Packers fan man, i hate to say it, but your not
Brett Favre is a legend in football, and should beloved by Packers and Vikings fans and also by people who just love the game of football in general. I'm a Packer fan and could never hate the man.

I hate people (not here, but the general public) hating on Brett Favre. He's done now, yes he waffled in retirement and for a while wanted to get back at Ted Thompson, but I think he was honest and certainly the best qb the Packers ever had (and top 10 all time). He gave his best years to the Packers and now some fans are hating on him. I'm a die-hard Packer fan, but I'm still kind of sad that I couldn't see Brett play again... even if it were for the Vikings.
