Second try at this video. It seems the more I mess with it in the video editor, the worse the final sharpness.
In this flight I'm testing two camera mounts. The boom mount on the control bar, adjustable by the pilot, works well. I used grey PVC Tees to make the modified monopod into an adjustable control bar mount. The wing-mounted camera shakes too much. The goal is to have both booms shake as little as possible.
The control bar boom is made from a $15 monopod with the camera mount on the thin end. The wing mount is a fiber tube from TAP plastics. I'll be looking for something else.
Cameras: GoPro on the wing, Contour on the control bar.
Go to www.twirlonup.com/mount.htm for a link to photos and descriptions of my mount quest.
Ernie, I am so glad you have a sense of humor about this. The audio for the landing is great. But man oh man, there's only so many of those you can get away with!
