They say imitation is the best form of flattery.

Here Malaysian artists sing this famous Bollywood song from KKHH.

Hindi movies are loved throughout the world, its an industry that is much bigger than Hollywood, an industry which touches more lives and brings happiness and entertainment to more cultures than any other movie industry. The stories of Bollywood may not always be that great, sometimes they suck, the historical movies are always full of inaccuracies, but the SONGS ARE ALWAYS AMAZING!!!!

This was a performance by AF3 in Malaysia.

Akademi Fantasia (commonly abbreviated as AF) is Malaysia's first reality television show in which a number of contestants called students compete for the winning title and a chance to start their career in the entertainment industry.

The first season premiered in June 2003 and was one of Astro Ria's highest rated show. The theme song entitled "Menuju Puncak" was performed by Juwita Suwito, who is the sister of the composer, Aubrey Suwito.

The format of the show is taken from "La Academia", which originated in Mexico. Malaysia is the first country in Southeast Asia to have its own version of this show. Subsequently, it has also been followed by Indonesia and Thailand, which garners positive response in comparison to the Idol series.

  • Duh....of course the original way better... they are not copycats... they just try to perform other culture song n respect it... that what is Malaysian all about. Malaysia the only country that stick together... we even celebrate all the celebration.. to respect each culture,...

  • Believe me, many of us love the performance and I know they are not copycats.

Just some people don't understand that this performance is a tribute to Indian cinema and its was done so well.

I loved it, thats why I posted it.

    Cheers.

  • lol copy cats...the original is 10000x better

  • You should see it as a tribute to our music and films. Remember they say imitation is the best form of flattery. Cheers.

  • Good work....amazing...was surprised where Bollywood is giving its influence...
