Thanks Rafsanjani. I did not expect you to be this open. To me, what you did not say matter more than what you said. Thank you for not congratulating Ahmadinejad and thank you for not saying anything regarding following the supreme leader's orders.

There was an important thing here that I think was overlooked by most observers: he proposes a referendum. listen to 07:22

A few good points :

•Islamic government should not force people to remain in power

•Called for unity against opportunists.

•The importance of regaining public trust.

•People should be able to question government objectively.

•Objections should be carried out lawfully in order to stop giving arm forces excuses to imprison/ injure people .

•Called for letting prisoners out.

I never thought I would say this but Mr. Hashemi showed political wisdom here through this emotional speech.

1. Their referendum just like their presidency elections is rigged.

2. Even if somehow people voted and said no to IRI there's noway IRI mullahs, pasdars, basijis and hired thugs would let go of the power and $300,000,000,000 money per year
