@lisa4615 wash and chop the cabbage, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Give it a little toss. Cut-up 6 slices of bacon. In a heavy pan over medium heat fry the bacon. Stir fry. soft not crisp. when the bacon releases the grease add cabbage stir. Cabbage will release it's own water and cook down. When all the cabbage is in the pan put a lid on it and cut down heat a little. stir often. cook to tender crisp or more to your liking. You can also take the bacon out before you add the cabbage. Yep, I love it. I'm down home too from Louisiana. We cut a little onion and put a little cayenne pepper in it as well. Good job!!!!!

@grethomory Thanks ! Since I made that video, I started adding some onion to mine and I just love it. I will have to try the cayanne pepper. I enjoy a little spice in my food. Darlene
